The starting point

For most restaurants, reservations are still a fragmented affair — a phone that rings through service, a paper diary at the host stand, and marketplace platforms that charge per cover and keep the guest relationship for themselves. Operators carry the cost of no-shows and double bookings while the data that could prevent them sits in someone else's system.

The ResGo founding team saw the opportunity for an operator-first alternative: a reservation product designed around how a restaurant actually runs a service, where the guest relationship belongs to the restaurant. What they needed was not staff augmentation but a partner prepared to take accountability for the product itself — from proposition to production.

A full product partnership

Trizen Labs operated as ResGo's product and engineering team. We shaped the proposition with the founders, designed the guest and operator experiences, built the platform, and carried it through to launch — a single accountable team across the entire arc.

Every product decision was weighed against the reality of a dinner service: the software has to be faster than pen and paper, legible at a glance, and dependable when the room is full. That standard shaped the interface, the data model, and the release plan in equal measure.

What we built

A complete reservation platform for restaurants and their guests, designed to run the front of house end to end:

  • A guest-facing booking experience that restaurants embed on their own site and channels — no marketplace between them and their guests.
  • Real-time table and availability management built for the pace of a live service.
  • Automated confirmations and reminders that reduce no-shows without adding work for staff.
  • Guest history and preferences, so every returning guest is a known guest.
  • An operator dashboard that gives owners a clear view across bookings, covers, and demand.

The outcome

ResGo is live in production and serving restaurants today, with a platform architecture designed to grow from a single venue to many without rework. The partnership continues beyond launch — Trizen Labs remains ResGo's product engineering team as the platform expands.
